Spouse's Name (including Maiden): Rusty Franklin
I am planning to attend the reunion: Yes
Any info on other classmates: I know Gerry Panzica still lives in Chicago! We would have lunch together at FVHS and we were classmates at Harper College and Illinois State University!!
What I have learned about life since 1970: That I wish I knew then what I know now. But no regrets. I had a great high school experience being in variety shows and musicals and still in contact with several classmates on FB.
What I have been doing for fun the last 50 years: Theatre, family, work, friends, travel. I moved to Texas after college and enjoyed all the wonderful places I explored. Met the most wonderful people there and it was a great place to live in my 20's. In my 30's. I came home to work and raise a baby. Grateful for all those 50 years. I learned so much about life.
Favorite song from HS that brings back a specific memory: My audition song for years when I was still an ingenue was "If I Were a Bell" from "Guys and Doll's". Got me a lotta work. Miss Judy Fine was our director. She and I met decades later and now I have directed her and her husband, Marc (not passed) in many musicals and she and I are in the Family Friendly Theatre Ensemble together and close friends. Talk about a small world!!
Your favorite TV show or movie from 1966-1970: Star Trek. Bewitched, Gilligan's Island, and more. The movie I remember was Casablanca. "Here's looking at you, kid.".
Tell about your most memorable high school memory: Singing "I Gotta Be Me" when I was a sophomore in the variety show. I knew then, at age 15, that I wanted to be a professional actress. I did receive my Equity card in my 20's but life took a different direction for me.
Name a teacher that had an influence on you and perhaps why: Mr. Robert Stelk was my most favorite teacher. He taught English. He set high expectations for his students and I learned so much from him. His class was challenging but so rewarding. Will always treasure those moments.
Information about myself that I would like to share: My husband, Rusty and I have been married for 24 years. He's still working full-time and enjoying every day of his life. He has 3 wonderful adult kids and two beautiful grandchildren.
About my children and my grandchildren: Joseph is a fabulous young man. He's a lead manager for a recruiting company. Graduated from Full Sail University with a BA in Entertainment Business. He is a workout fanatic and loves hanging with us and his friends.
Higher Education: Graduated in 1974 from Illinois State University in Speech and Drama. Post graduate classes at Corpus Christi University.
Former and/or Current Occupation: Retired. I have held many careers since I graduated college. Mostly with corporate and non-profit organizations. I stepped away from theatre while I raised my son, Joseph, now 36. Returned when he was 16 and have never stopped. I am an adjunct faculty in the CE department at Harper College. I am the President/Artistic Director of Fremont Street Theatre Company, Vice-President of Elgin Theatre Company and past owner of Long Grove Performing Arts Academy. I have directed and taught kids and adults for many companies and been nominated and won Broadway World Chicago awards. 2019 put an end to my passion so I've been zooming with many groups to keep the creative juices flowing. So thankful that in-person rehearsals have begun and theatre has returned.

Spouse's Name (including Maiden): Ann Johnston Green
I am planning to attend the reunion: Hope so.
What I have been doing for fun the last 50 years: Ann and I, married 32 years, have lived in Miami for 28 of them. We have one son, Michael, trying to get it done in LA. After teaching 18 years, I joined the pastoral staff at UBC in Coral Gables where I presently work. Life has been good - though it's flown by. In one sense, Rolling Meadows, Forest View, and all that feels like a lifetime ago. In another sense, it feels like yesterday. You know what I mean!
