It\'s been 20 years since the last reunion Hal and I attended. Sadly, Hal died March 29, 2017. I\'ve moved to East Peoria, IL by my brother and his family to retire. I worked in various caregiving positions from Developmentally disabled to mentally ill to elder care. Retirement is a blessing. No more stress. Would have liked a few of my 1970 classmate friends to attend, but none are coming. Some Facebook friends are, so I\'ll be happy to see them. Looking forward to seeing all who attend. I have 3 sons, 3 dils, 8 grands and 2 greats.

I've lived in upstate New York since 1983, and recently retired from my second career (high school teacher). I would likely have continued at least a couple more years were it not for Covid. The only reunion I attended was the 20th, but now that I'm retired, I could make the next one.

I have never made it to any reunion and think I should do that for the 50th! I am not really lost, just living in Colorado. Drop me a line when someone starts planning the 50th, would love to see everyone then.

Hello to the FVHS class of \'70.  We have just retired in Michigan & will not be available to attend the reunion.  I told JoAnne I\'d try to attend the 50th.  Enjoy your weekend together!

This is in part a curiosity ("how has life turned out for people"), in part an excuse to come home, and in part a reflection on life and where its taken all of us.  From the vantage point of 40 years out high school can seem so meaningless, and yet it was formative of who we are and became.  Looking forward to hearing everyone\'s story.

Hi everyone,  I won\'t be able to join you this time. Leaving for Alaska on Aug. 1st. My time just doesn\'t allow for additional travel. I hope that you all have a wonderful time reminiscing. Perhaps we can catch up on facebook.

Okay, it looks like I am headed north and Bob and I will be in Arlington Heights for the reunion after all. Haven\'t seen any of you in more than half our lifetimes, so it should be a grand adventure! Looking forward to delight-full moments of shock and recognition... and laughter... HA!Lynn : )

Hi all - spent 26 years in radio broadcasting, hitting the airways in a number of states.  Retired in 1996 in Houston TX and moved eventually to rural TX forestland.
I stay busy with contract design work and the conservation district, my little "farm" and a few other things.
Remembering a lot of names cruising on this website - thanks to the forces behind putting it all together!  Can\'t make it back to Ill., but stay on the web a lot and even ventured into FB lately.
  ya\'ll have fun!

Looking back at 40 years, I only have one thing to say. "What the hell happened ?"
I would love to come to see eveyone...like some of you know, I had a stroke, and it is really difficult for me to get around...but I am going to try....
Since I do not have a social life anymore, well not like i USED to, I have become a Facebook junkie...
I will try my hardest to come to the reunion, I might me using my walker or wheelchair, but I hope on coming :)

Well, it certainly has been 40 yrs!  But it has flown by so fast!  But I\'ll bet we still have the lil high schooler in us!  I am so looking forward to the Reunion in July.  Hope that everyone can make it.  I have been living in Tucson, AZ since 1974.  If any of you live in Arizona or have 2nd homes here, send me an email.  We must get together!

Thanks to Linda Jamieson and Joy Vincent Wilson for sending me this link. Don\'t know if I can get there in July, but it sure is fun to hear the Falcon fight song and view some blasts from the past... Thanks to John McMahon for mentioning Blessed by Default and hi to Kay Ilg for making contact. Find me on Facebook -- in Atlanta... It is always a rush to reconnect after 40 (40?!!!!) years.... If any of you are headed South, look me up!

Just wanting to say "HELLO" to everyone and that I am so excited about the reunion!!!!!  I can't wait.  I wish I could help out but my retail hours at work make it very hard.  Contact me though and I'll see if I can spare a few hours to help out.

Thanks

Is it really 40 years?  I don't think that I am even 40 years old yet!  It will be great to see everyone and catch up.   I still have not had to prove that two triangles are congruent (sp?)!
