Favorite song from HS that brings back a specific memory: Singing \\\'Gonna Build A Mountain\\\' with Towne Criers at a local junior high school and we all forgot to sing at the intro. We started laughing and the audience started laughing too. Life lesson is to always keep a sense of humor and a smile on your face when things do not go as they should. And then, begin again!
Your favorite TV show or movie from 1966-1970: Laugh-In and Mission: Impossible
Tell about your most memorable high school memory: When the white rats were let loose in the school cafeteria, library in the days before our high school graduation.
Name a teacher that had an influence on you and perhaps why: All of my teachers provided excellent instruction and guidance.

Comment: Even though I moved before my junior year, I still have fond memories of my friends at FVHS. (My brother graduated in '68) Also because I had liived in Mt. Prospect since kindergarten and went to Sunset Park, Lions Park and Lincoln Jr, I remember many of you from my years there.





Thank you, Marcie, for the pics from Sunset. (I figured they were yours!) Thanks to Kel who contacted me via a reunion website, who said that even those of us who didn't graduate from FV are welcome.  Wouldn't you know it, my reunion at my HS in Wisconsin is the same weekend.  I plan to be in Chicago visiting relatives then, so will try to hit both! Great website!

What I have been doing for fun the last 50 years: Moved to California in '76 along with my whole family. Have a beautiful 16 year old son who is a sophomore in high school for one more week. Was in medical sales for a looong time. Just started in real estate.

What I have been doing for fun the last 50 years: I have been with Merrill Lynch for 40 years. Free time is spent traveling worldwide, water skiing in the summer, cross country skiing in the winter, and being a die hard Cubs and Bears fan.

What I have learned about life since 1970: Friends are precious, families even more so. I wish my kids were in the same town with us so we could see & enjoy them often. They had it right in the old days.
What I have been doing for fun the last 50 years: Too much work, I am really looking forward to stopping ASAP! Most of my career running my own business - don't like bosses, I guess. Married to my best friend, Dr Jill, who has kept me well-grounded amidst the blessings of love, family, good health, & daily happiness.

Tell about your most memorable high school memory: Hanging above the stage as window-washer JP Finch on the opening night of my first play. Nervous does not begin to describe what I was feeling.
Name a teacher that had an influence on you and perhaps why: Harold Peterson, Chuck Wilde, & Bob Stelk. They shared their love of theater with me & profoundly impacted who I would become. I hope to see Bob when I'm up there.
Information about myself that I would like to share: Still really close with Gary Douglas; lost my best buddy Pat Coyne in July 2020; miss my great friend & college roommate Keith Phillips. Look forward to seeing some of the old gang at the reunion: Doug, Billy, Gregg, John, Barb, Diana, Lynette, Marcie... so many good memories

Tell about your most memorable high school memory: Solo orchesis performance and running for class president freshman year which lead to a lifetime of volunteer activity (most recently serving on the Historical Preservation Commission for the city of Kingman)
Name a teacher that had an influence on you and perhaps why: Math teacher John Heenan who introduced me to computers and computer programming. Though it took many years, it ended up becoming a passion and basis for multiple business endeavors.
