Timothy Crotty Osner, 72, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Tim was born on September 2, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri. Shortly thereafter, his family relocated to Arlington Heights, Illinois, where Tim resided for the first half of his life, experiencing his youth, schooling years, and laying the foundation for his future career in the healthcare field.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. and Virginia Christian Osner. Tim is also preceded in death by his much-loved companion, his faithful beagle, Monty.

I am sorry, but I do not have Mike's birthdate nor his exact date of death. Nor do I have his obituary.
But I believe Mike was in the USN, and went missing after a sortie from an aircraft carrier in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It would have been between 1978 and 1981.
At that time, I was assigned to the 7th Coast Guard District Operations Center. I became aware of a search for a missing USN aircraft from a carrier. Although I did not know the missing pilot's identity, I offered USCG assistance to the Navy, but they declined my offer. Weeks later, I was on leave visiting my parents in Rolling Meadows when my mother showed me a local newspaper report of Mike...
