I don't remember how old I was the first year I was able to sign up for boy's baseball…about 8 years old? But, that's when I met Scott Biermann…on the Athletics. We played together on a number of baseball teams through the years, as well as sand lot games. We hung out with the same crowds and often ended up hanging out together. We shared a lot of good laughs. I knew Scott through high school at Forest View. Even though high school was the last time I saw him, I can't think back to my childhood without remembering Scotty. We always had fun, and when I picture him, he always has that smile on his face. RIP old friend.

ROLLING MEADOWS - Scott A. Biermann, 61, of Tempe, AZ and formerly of Rolling Meadows, was born March 14, 1952, and passed away November 29, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jackie; his sons, Todd and Brian (Shelly); and his siblings, Kathy Rowley of Huntley, Peggy Milbratz of Rolling Meadows; Jill Lawson of Chandler, AZ, George Biermann of Elk Grove Village, Tammy Wood of Wonder Lake and Tom Biermann of Chandler, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Biermann. He will be forever in our hearts.
Scott Biermann was born on March 14, 1952. He died from complications from heart disease and diabetes on Nov. 29, 2013 at the age of 61. He spent his childhood on Campbell St. in Rolling Meadows. He was a meat cutter by trade. He moved to Tempe, AZ from Arlington Heights in 1978. Scott was blessed with 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. Sadly one of his sons, a twin, died in infancy from SIDS. He was an avid bowler, classic car lover, and sports fan. He was able to enjoy his restoration of a 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS before he passed. He enjoyed showing his car off at cars shows in the Phoenix area.
