JoAnn Vercelli (Scholl)
May 10, 1952 school librarian Married 3 James Scholl yes I went back to school to get my library endorsement three years ago. It was not easy taking classes with all those young techie people, but I eventually made it! I love my job working with kids in grades K-5. My husband and I have been enjoying the benefits of my son's job at United. We finally got to visit Italy and Hawaii. Amazing - especially being able to spend time with Italian cousins and eating seven course meals at their homes.

October 03, 1952 AR Processor Married 1 Bill Cunningham No I have been working for our business, which gave me the opportunity to help care for my parents. My mother died of cancer in 2006. My father died in November, 2009, from a heart attack. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's for many years. I became very active in the Alzheimer Support Group, and have served on panels as a caregiver.

I had a great time in high school, and miss all of the friends that I made.  Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the reunion, but I will be thinking of all of you!

July 31, 1952 Office Administrator Married 2 Scott Vaughn Yes
As everyone has had their share of ups and downs, I have had mine too but life is good.  I am happily married and my husband does a good job of contributing to the fun and laughter in my life.

I have two wonderful sons.  I would be so happy if they would just find the right woman (no simple task) and settle down and give me grandkids.  All in due time.  More than anything I want them to enjoy life and be happy.  Then whatever happens, happens.

Scott and I have worked hard and hopefully there will be time at the end of the day to enjoy the fruits of our labor.  My sister and brother-in-law passed in the last decade and I was guardian for my neice and nephew.  Wish my sister could see that they are on the verge of becoming responsible adults.  I am at the same job and still enjoy it.  Retirement seems appealing but only if you have the money and the health to enjoy it.  Working on that.  I have been very lucky to have many friends that I still keep in touch with, some from school and jobs and marriages along the way.  And then I pop up and start calling some of you about every 10 years and bugging you to come to the reunion.  Looking forward to seeing you all on July 24th!

Human Resources Manager Married 2 Alex Unknown at this time Mary Buyers Schmauch lives in Auburn, CA We took a trip of a lifetime to Kazakhstan (an Asian country bordered by Russia, China and 300 miles north of Afghanistan) to adopt a three year old boy. It was the first anniversary of 9/11 so we saw a larger than normal military presence that you never see in America. Politics stretched our 2 1/2 week trip into a month. We also flew to the Embassy in Moscow and were amazed as Americans to be standing in Red Square. It sure made us appreciate what we have in America.

After closing Rockwell International in Colorado Springs, I joined Texas Instruments in Houston. Was I nuts?? Great company, horrible location. I was thankfully recruited back to mountain country by W.L. Gore and Associates (makers of GORE-TEX) in the medical products division in Flagstaff, AZ. With a kid in high school and one in elementary school, we are highly involved in marching band, TaeKwon Do, and lots of school activities. Obviously, retirement isn't even a consideration. We travel extensively throughout Arizona, Colorado and California and love to hike and camp.
